I was first introduced to It’s a 10 several years ago in New York City. While on a typical mad dash from one event to the next, I popped into a random back alley salon for a blowout. The results exceeded my wildest expectations, which is saying a lot for someone who has had bi-montly blowouts for the last 10 years. It’s common knowledge that when creating the perfectly coifed ‘do technique is everything, but in this case my stylist also credited It’s a 10 for the softness, shine, and volume. Needless to say, I bought out their entire stock of the miracle spritz on the spot.
But the benefits of the brand span far beyond what it did for my out-of-control mane. In 2015, It’s a 10 launched their “Whipped” collection of products, in partnership with Christina Applegate’s foundation Right Action for Women. What makes this campaign especially unique is that the brand isn’t just committed to BCA support in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month, the goal of the line is to “Whip Cancer” and help women receive advanced screening all year round.
Ten percent of proceeds for every Whipped product purchased, including Miracle Whipped Styling Balm, Miracle Whipped Finishing Spray, Miracle Whipped Shampoo and Miracle Whipped Conditioner, is donated to RAW.
