About Alexis Hart
Alexis is a beauty editor and on-camera expert with over 15 years of experience in her field. Her career as a beauty advisor began at college where she doled out advice in a Q&A column in her school newspaper. Her passion for writing and product led her to Women’s Health Magazine, where she landed a job as the Associate Beauty Editor. From there she got her social media bootcamp at Attention, a social media public relations and marketing firm, and then entered the world of online journalism at DailyGlow.com as the Senior Associate Beauty Editor. Alexis combined her expertise in social media, video, and writing and editing in the health and beauty categories as the Senior Beauty Editor at EverydayHealth.com, where she brought her celeb interviews to life through on-camera conversations with Connie Britton, Kelly Ripa, Adriana Lima, and more. She’s appeared on PIX 11 and The Dr. OZ Show, and has partnered with brands like Nexxus, CVS, C&G Weddings, OpenSky, and Dr. Jart for beauty campaigns and launches. Her work has also been featured in FabFitFun.com, VProud, Dermstore.com, Daily Burn, Brit+Co, Yahoo.com, Makeup.com, and Self.com.
Alexis has made it a mission to give back in her daily life and believes that random acts of kindness can come in the form of small gestures (like smiling at someone having a bad day) or larger efforts that come with donating time and/or financial support. Her particular work has been focused in the homeless and low income community, animal welfare, and helping support medically fragile children in foster and adoptive care.
Alexis lives in New York and refuses to leave her apartment without the perfect red lipstick and SPF 30+.
